“Man, what in the world is going on with this thing? It should have healed by now.” Wincing from the strange, stabbing pain radiating from your left shoulder, you stood in front of a mirror and tried to get a better look. The edges of the wound had turned completely black and it showed no sign at all of healing. After a week of letting it heal, the cut actually looked much worse than when you'd first got it. “Maybe Lee was right.” You placed a small bandage on your shoulder and tried to ignore it. “Nah, I'm probably just bored and worrying over nothing.” Putting it out of your mind, you walked outside and were immediately greeted by Lee dropping down from your roof.
He quickly brushed himself off and stood uncomfortably close to you. “Hello there, how is your shoulder today? Is it any better than it was yesterday? It was looking pretty bad yesterday, this is why I am asking.”
You took a step away from him and t

It had taken you the better part of a year, but after a ton of reading, hard work, and snooping around, you'd finally managed to do it. Though it had been anything but easy, you managed to find the location of a single swordsman. Unfortunately, you reward for accomplishing this feat was not quite what you'd hoped for. Your clothes were a muddy soggy mess, your hair was stuck to your soaked red face and your shoes made a horrid sloshing sound with each and every step you took. The flooded landscape of the forest made each step treacherous. You couldn't count how many times you'd hurt your ankle or stepped into a sink hole in the last few days. Afraid you'd be left behind soon if you didn't say something, you called out to Suigetsu in a raspy voice. “Suigetsu, do you think we could stop walking and dry out for a while. I know for you, the rain makes for great traveling weather, but I'm not sure how much farther I can go.”
Suigetsu looked back at you

“Does anyone have any idea how these guys got so stinking close to the village without anyone noticing them? There must be at least a hundred or so of them out here. The fact that we didn't even suspect anything suspicious is completely ridiculous.” Just outside of Konoha, you and a small group of ninja did your best to defend the village from a large group of unidentified ninja. Covered from head to toe in dingy, grey rags, it was impossible to tell what village they were from, or even if they associated with any village at all.
Shikamaru shrugged lazily as he took out at least a half dozen enemies with a simple paper bomb. “Your guess is as good as mine. They must have used some sort of jutsu to conceal themselves, and their chakra from us.” He sighed. “This is a real drag though, beating these guys isn't even good training. It's boring and repetitive.”
“Do not complain my friends. Yes, there are many of them, but a

“Hmm, this is seriously unlike him. Normally he'd have been banging on my door for at least a half hour now.” You looked over at your clock and confirmed that he was indeed late. “I wonder if something happened to him.” Worried by Guy's absence, you slipped on your shoes, and walked out you front door, which still needed replacing. The early morning air still held a chill in the breeze, as there was no sun to warm it up yet. Rubbing your hands together to warm them, you quickened your pace to the point of almost jogging. It was still hard for you to believe that only a month ago you would just now be getting into bed. And your past self would have died laughing if you told she'd ever be jogging. “I wonder if he's sick or something. Men are such big babies.” Finally, at his home, you peeked in the front door, which was unlocked as always, and called for him. “Guy Sensei, are you in here?”
